I have definitely made vanilla ice cream before but I wanted to try this one and I’m glad I did. It stayed scoopable and delicious for weeks!
Nothing too crazy here today. Just ice cream without cream. Now, this isn’t ice cream that will completely fool you into thinking it is normal ice cream. And I would still like to try other options in the future with coconut milk, but this was a great first attempt. The Fudgelet and Chiplet were both big fans.
I haven’t been making as many new savory dishes recently, but have been making new baking recipes to try out. After making the World Peace cookies that I just shared, I made other cookie recipes, including this bar you see below.
Is it okay for me to share another half-recipe with you? And an ice cream one when it is cool weather season? I hope so, because that is what you are getting today.

Even if you never considered making ice cream cakes before. I am here to tell you that they are fairly easy, and definitely easier than making a layer cake. Both the decorating and the making parts.
