Topic-Changing Thursdays: Snaps of our trip

I thought it would be fun to share some pictures of our trip we took. None of us had ever gone to this lake before, and we were excited, but K and I were also hoping that there was enough to keep us occupied.

Tips-y Tuesdays: Packing Food for a Vacation

Recently we went on a vacation that was a few hours’ drive away. It was really nice, but there was a lot of planning for it. We had a house complete with a decent-sized kitchen, but I wasn’t sure what would be there. They did say that condiments and food items would not be there for sanitary purposes. Chicken and Rice Bake

I am a bit torn on this recipe. It was pretty easy and it is nice that it is all together, but I kind of wish there was a way of getting the chicken to crisp up in the oven.

Wayback Wednesdays: Shrimp Scampi

This isn’t so way back because I actually make this shrimp scampi regularly. I have gotten better with it and the kids enjoy it more now, which is always great. This most recent time I actually made it with cilantro at the end and it was great!
