Chiplet Adventures (part 13): Letter I Week

I just want to send good thoughts to everyone out there that might be dealing with the virus going around the world right now. You might know that it has hit my area pretty bad and continues to get worse. We have been trying to stay home when we can and keep away from the germs, but it is hard to do. We are still continuing our activities at home, which is our transition to letter I today.

We started by painting the letter “I” with ice.

I put some liquid food coloring in an ice cube tray and added water, then froze them. We also used grabbing tools (clothespins work okay too, depending on your shapes).

The next day we decided to add to that and turned it into insects.

I made faces on dot stickers and then we added legs with crayons.

The next activity was making ice cream for lowercase i, just like I did with the Fudgelet.

All we did was take some ice cream flavors and glued the papers onto an uppercase I, just because it needed to get glued on something anyway.
