I’ve come across many recipes for making fruit roll-ups but had a bad experience with some generic fruit leather I had as a kid, and was worried it would just taste awful. This ended up being delicious, easy, and a fun treat for the Fudgelet.
Directions for Fruit-Roll-Ups
From What’s Up Moms
- Fruit of your choice (I used strawberries and blueberries)
Preheat the oven to 225 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Puree the fruit in a food processor or blender until smooth. Add a little honey to taste, then blend some more.
Pour the mixture onto your parchment paper in a rectangular shape. Spread it with a spatula to make a thin layer. Bake it for 2-3 hours until it is no longer sticky to the touch. Use scissors to cut the paper into strips and roll up the treats.
