Easiest Fudge Popsicles

Seriously, this is one of the easiest recipes I have found for eating chocolate in a frozen stick form. And, it was actually full of chocolate flavor. Probably because it is mostly melted chocolate.

And, by the way, if you don’t want to eat these as popsicles, you can also eat them as a moussey-pudding. Are you sold, yet?

Directions for Easiest Fudge Popsicles

  • 3/4 cup (6 ounces) water
  • 8 ounces dark chocolate. chopped
  • Ice cubes and water (enough for a bowl big enough for your saucepan to sit in)
In a saucepan, pour the water. With medium-low heat, whisk in the chocolate until completely melted and smooth. Put the saucepan in a bowl filled with ice cubes (and some water), then whisk until it thickens. The original recipe said strands of chocolate would form inside the loops of the whisk. I’m not sure if I had that, but it definitely thickened to a more pudding-like consistency. Then, divide it into small bowls to eat right away, or refrigerate for later. If you wish to make popsicles, simply pour into your popsicles molds and freeze.

I made some of the popsicles smaller (a Fudgelet portion) and some full-size. Both turned out fine.
