You might have noticed that this has been a funny week of posting. Well, we are going away for an extended weekend to visit a friend (one I haven’t seen since our wedding!) and I decided to make this week special for my vacation week. So, you had a tips-y Tuesday post and now a Topic-Changing-Thursday post!
Something I have been focused on recently is snacking. K and I have well-established differences in snacking habits. He almost always goes for chips (particularly our hometown favorite) and I love sweet snacks. We both have odd working schedules that tend to have us eating dinner around 8 or 9 pm. And I don’t mean a quick dinner. A normal full dinner at that time. Something that has helped our schedules a bit has been my new car!! (Yep, after 2 years of being married, we finally have 2 cars!) It means that I don’t have to go pick him up from work after I get off work, so we can get home sooner. But, we still end up eating late because of habit.
As a result, snacks are necessary. My favorite snacks right now are gummy snacks (gummy worms, bears, penguins–you name it, I have probably tried it and loved it), white cheddar popcorn (Trader Joe’s and Tim’s Cascade are my favorites), and Oatmeal Squares (an old favorite that I would eat with my mom).
Do you make snacks to have ready? I have done this sometimes, but often go for a bag of … well, something. Do you have certain snacks you crave? I want to hear from you guys!

Oh, and full disclosure…I often snack on a large, heaping spoon of peanut butter. Fresh from the jar. Shhhhh.
